After that it opens like an app from the icon — no address to type.
2. The access code
The first time you open the site it asks for the store access code. Get it from your manager or the card in the break room. You enter it once per phone; it stays signed in for about a month.
Some employees also have a personal PIN (4–6 digits) set by a manager. If you have one, the form asks for it after you pick your name. The PIN lets you see and cancel your own approved time off and is your signature on a request. Lost your phone or forgot the PIN? Ask your manager to look it up or set you a new PIN.
3. Asking for time off — 7 steps
Your store — tap your store. The site remembers it.
Your name — pick yourself from the list (start typing to search). Enter your PIN if you have one.
What do you need? — Vacation, Personal day, Unpaid time off, Sick, Doctor / medical appointment, Leave early, Arrive late, Working elsewhere (you are working that day, just not at your store — pick the store you are going to, or An event / off-site for a training, show, demo day or customer site and say what and where in the reason box; approved automatically and shown on the calendar as "At Park City" or "At event"), Bereavement, Jury duty.
When — one day or several days. For Leave early enter the time you are leaving; for Arrive late the time you will arrive; for an appointment the from–to times. For a half day tap Morning off or Afternoon off. The form shows how many work days or hours that is.
Reason — optional (required only when you pick An event / off-site under Working elsewhere: say what the event is and where). For sick days and appointments no medical details are needed.
Heads-up box — before you submit, the site tells you if coworkers at your store are already off those days. It never blocks you; it just lets you know your manager may have a harder time saying yes.
Submit — you get a request number and an email (if we have your address). Tap My requests any time to check.
Already agreed with your manager? Submit it anyway — they approve with one tap. If it is not in the site, it is not approved.
4. What the answer means
PENDINGAPPROVEDDENIED
Pending — your manager has it and has not decided yet. If you hear nothing by the day before your time off, ask them.
Approved — you are off. It is on the store calendar. You get an email with the answer.
Denied — not approved this time. The email includes your manager's note. Talk to them if you need to.
Approved with changes — your manager approved different dates or times than you asked for; the email shows both.
5. Things that are approved automatically
Doctor / medical appointments up to 4 hours on a single day are approved the moment you submit — your manager gets an FYI. Longer than that, or more than two in a month, goes to your manager like a normal request. Sick days (up to 3 in a row), bereavement, jury duty, leave early / arrive late up to 1 hour (below) and Working elsewhere also approve automatically.
Automatic approval can be turned off for a request when several people are already off that day, or when a PIN is required and you have not entered one — then it simply waits for your manager.
Blackout periods. During the company's busiest weeks (the form warns you when your dates fall in one) nothing is automatic — every request, including sick days and appointments, waits for your manager's OK. You can still send it; just expect a decision rather than an instant approval.
Leave early / arrive late
Leaving early or arriving late by up to 1 hour is approved automatically outside blackout periods (see above; late arrivals: up to 2 a month). Anything longer, or a day when several people are already off, waits for your manager — put it in as soon as you know.
Calling in sick / yesterday's sick day
Put it in the same day if you can. You can enter a sick day, appointment, bereavement or jury duty up to 7 days back; leave-early / arrive-late / working elsewhere up to 3 days back. Older than that, ask your manager to record it. Vacation and personal days cannot be back-dated.
6. See who's off
Tap 📅 Who's off (next to My requests) or open hr.opebybde.net/calendar. Pick your store to see a month calendar of who is off, plus holidays, closures and other entries from the company calendar. It is view-only — you cannot add or change anything there; only managers can. Coworkers only see names and plain labels — "Out", "Vacation", "Personal Off", "Away", "In late", "Leaving 2:00 PM", "Jury duty", "At Park City" / "At event" — never the reason, never sick vs doctor.
7. Checking or cancelling a request
Open the site, pick your name and tap My requests, or use the link in your confirmation email.
Pending requests can be cancelled from the same phone you used, or with your PIN.
Approved time off that has not started can be cancelled with your PIN. No PIN? Ask your manager to cancel it, or have a PIN set.
Time off that has already started: ask your manager.
8. Who can see what
Who
Sees
Your coworkers
Only a plain label — Out, Vacation, Personal Off, Away, In late, Leaving 2:00 PM, Jury duty, At Park City / At event — never why, never your reason, never sick vs doctor.
The company calendar
Your name and the same plain label — no reasons.
Your managers
Your request, your reason, and your attendance record.
Payroll
Dates, hours and the type — never the reason.
9. Who to ask
Your store manager, for anything about your time off. If the site is down or you cannot sign in, tell your manager in person — they can record it for you.
10. Texts
If you want, the site can text you instead of (or as well as) emailing. On the form, enter your cell under Text me updates at (cell) and tick Yes, text me about this request. Your manager can also enter your cell from the Employees page — you then get one text asking you to reply YES, and nothing else is sent until you do. If you have a PIN and enter it, the number is saved to your record (if it had no cell yet) and all your texts come through; without a PIN the number is used for this request only and only a few texts a day are sent to it.
What you get: a short "got it" when you send a request, then APPROVED or DENIED (with your manager's note), and a text if it is cancelled. Texts only say the type and the dates — never your reason, never anything medical.
When: not late at night — anything after about 9 PM waits until the morning.
Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them for good; reply START to get them again. Message and data rates may apply. Texting is optional — email and My requests keep working either way.

hr.opebybde.net
Baje y toque Agregar a inicio (Add to Home Screen), luego Agregar.
(What do you need?)
Para medio día toque Morning off (mañana libre) o Afternoon off (tarde libre).
Salir temprano / llegar tarde
6. Ver quién está fuera
Toque 📅 Who's off (quién está fuera, al lado de My requests) o abra hr.opebybde.net/calendar. Los compañeros solo ven nombres y etiquetas sencillas — "Out" (fuera), "Vacation" (vacaciones), "Personal Off", "Away", "In late" (llega tarde), "Leaving 2:00 PM" (sale a las 2:00 PM), "Jury duty", "At Park City" / "At event" — nunca el motivo, nunca si es enfermedad o médico.
8. Quién puede ver qué
Quién
Ve
Sus compañeros
Solo una etiqueta sencilla — Out (fuera), Vacation, Personal Off, Away, In late, Leaving 2:00 PM (sale a las 2:00 PM), Jury duty, At Park City / At event — nunca por qué, nunca su motivo, nunca si es enfermedad o médico.
9. A quién preguntar
Manager quick guide
The full step-by-step administrator how-to (login setup, who approves whom, verbal OKs, attendance, blackouts) is at hr.opebybde.net/manager-guide.
Said yes in person? Either tell them to put it in (you tap Approve) or log it yourself right then with + Log a verbal OK. Never neither.
Deciding requests
Every new request emails you with Approve / Deny buttons. One tap opens a confirm page; the decision is made when you press the button there. Links are personal to you and expire after 14 days or once the request is decided.
The Inbox in the portal (hr.opebybde.net/admin) shows the same requests with the calendar, conflicts and an Approve with changes option.
A red CONFLICT means other people at the store are already off that day. Amber means others have asked for the same day and are undecided.
Deny needs a reason — the employee sees the note box. The internal note is for managers only and never leaves the portal.
You cannot decide your own request; the owner or another manager does.
By text (when texting is on and your roster record says "Text me: Yes"): the same request arrives as a text with the link and a 3-digit code — reply A 417 to approve or D 417 your reason to deny. The text never shows the employee's reason; open the link or the portal for that. Managers with texting on also get the 6:15 who's-out summary as one morning text (names and labels, who is working elsewhere or coming in from another store, and what is pending).
Every day
The 6:15 AM Who's out today email lists who is off, who is working elsewhere (and who is coming in from another store), who is out tomorrow, the next 14 days, and anything still pending.
Someone did not show, called in sick, or left early? + Record attendance. If they already have a request for that day the record is linked automatically.
Someone is out with nothing in the system? Record Out — no request in the system rather than quietly accepting it.
Setting up
Set every employee a PIN in the first two weeks (Employees → Set PIN). Self-service cancel needs it and it is the employee's signature on a request; once the owner turns on Settings → auto-approve requires PIN, doctor's appointments will wait for you unless the employee entered one.
Employees with no email: hand them the access code, tell them to check My requests, and tell them decisions in person.
Reports gives per-employee totals, an Excel workbook and the Payroll CSV for any date range.
Spanish-speaking staff: send them hr.opebybde.net/guia (this guide in Spanish) — the request form itself is in English, so the Spanish guide names each button in both languages.
Registre Out — no request in the system (fuera, sin solicitud) en lugar de dejarlo pasar.
